Shawn Southern learned pattern making in 2002 from Carushka herself when he became her assistant designer. Carushka is known as the pioneer of women's bodywear during the 80's becoming famous for creating bazaar pinstriped leotards. Shawn has designed women's yoga wear, men's fitness wear and men's couture. He designed lines for ETU Couture which launched heavy in Japan, and was deemed one of the top mail order garment catalogues in 2003. He now is driven on his prided new label, Kung Fu Hero. The new line is inspired by super heroes that do kung fu.
